TERRiFiED TRAVELER!!

As most of you know, im not the best traveler. I hate driving in cars for long periods of time, I hate flying, I just like to be at home where everything is comforting. I know, boring right,well Philand I decided to spend the holidays with my family, so he left for Utah on friday, which left no way for me to get there except to fly!!!! I HATE FLYING!!! I have no idea how i am going to find the courage to get myself on that plane. I leave tomorrow night, and I have not slept since I bought the ticket a couple days ago! I hate everything about flying, the take off, the landing, being in the air, the turbulance! Anyway I will stop complaining about it because I know im fortunate enough to even get to go see my family for christmas. Please just for my sake, wish me good luck!!...ugh :(
P.S I feel bad for the sucker who ends up sitting next to me!!! They are in for lots of tears!!

TWiLiGHT SERiES!!

Ok, so Cindy (Brindys mom) new I liked to read, so she told me about a new series of books that she just started called Twilight. Then all the hype came when the movie was coming out. Of course I didn't read the book yet, but I did see the movie and fell completely in love with the story. I knew I had to get my hands on the books! My friend Kerry at work, just started getting into it too and told me I could borrow the first book, since she was already on the second, well that was last week and now im on the FOURTH book, the last one in the series! Im completely obsessed with it and I think all the books are amazing! Phil hates that in every spare moment I have, im reading the book, so into it, I sometimes don't realize he is talking to me, lol!! I know isn't that rediculous!!!! Anyway I just wanted to recommend the books to anyone who liked the movie! The books are amazing too!! Well thats all I have to say, I better get back to reading......

DiSNEYLAND!

Last wednesday was one of the funnest days I have had in a looooong time!! My Dad, and two sisters came down for just one day to California. Spur of the moment we decided to go to Disneyland! I was so excited because I had not been there in about ten years!! So much had changed I swear we where all acting like little kids running to every ride with the biggest smiles accross our faces! The day went by entirely too fast and times like those truly make me appreciate every second I get to spend with my family. They are amazing and im so lucky to have them! Thanks Dad, Brit and, Kels! Next time the whole family has to come to make it that much more fun!!

THANKSGiViNG WEEKEND!!

First of all I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! I loved having the long weekend and best of all I got a big surprise. Phil bought me a new puppy, and he is the cutest thing ever! We have a big dog named Max, and we decided he needed to have a friend. Yes, puppies are so cute, but they are ALOT of work!
I also went to the race track for "A DAY IN THE DIRT", its a big event where a bunch of people come out and race dirtbikes. I went with my friend Sarah to watch her boyfriend race and it was a ton of fun!
Phil and I also went to a bar called Saddle Ranch for our friend Ashleys 21st Birthday party. It is a pretty popular place because it was right off of City Walk in Universal Studios, and they have two mechanical bulls you can ride. There was no way i was getting on that thing, but a couple of our friends did and it was sooo funny to watch!
Im sad this weekend is coming to an end, but its bitter sweet for me because that means Christmas is that much closer and I get to go home and be with my family!

HALLOWEEN TiME!

I have always loved halloween. I love everything about it, the dressing up, the candy, the decorations..everything!! This year I dressed up as Alice in Wonderland and I loved my costume! A friend of mine threw a big halloween party and it was fun to see everyones costumes and see how creative they where. Well Here are a couple pictures I managed to get!

FiNALLY EMPLOYED!!!

Yay!! I finally found a job!! When Phil left to Iraq I had quit my job and went to Utah for a little bit to spend time with my family of course. Well I had a great time while I was there and then Phil came home and we went back to california and back to reality for me, lol. I had to find a job and go through that process all over again. Well I have been home for awhile now and had absolutely no luck in finding a job. Well I finally got one today, and although my loooongg vacation was very much needed, I really am looking forward to going back to work and getting a paycheck every week.(phils excited too, now he doesn't have to pay for EVERYTHING!!) LOL..XOXO!!

TOGA PARTY!!

Saturday night our friends Brittany and Alexis had a house warming party/toga party! Everyone dressed up and it was so much fun. Phil unfortunetly was sick and didn't get to make the party but I still had tons of fun! I couldn't decide what kind of fabric to wear and I had no idea how to make a toga, well I tried and I think it worked out pretty well. I kinda felt more like a jungle girl, but I loved it and everyone else came up with some funny ideas too! I wish I would have grabbed a couple more pictures and I should have taken one of the whole length so you could see the complete outfit but oh well...here are the pics I did get!

UTAH ViSiT!!

Ok so I know I have been back in California for awhile but Phil and I have been so busy moving our stuff and getting back into the routine of things I have not had time for anything else! So today I was looking through my camera and wanted to post up a few pictures from my Utah Trip. I had soooo much fun and i miss everyone so much i can't wait to visit again! XOXO

I thought this picture was soo funny because Chad loves dogs but is really afraid of them. The whole time Max was there Chad was very cautious around him. Then I find them sleeping in the same bed and couldn't help but laugh!!




On our last night there Phil and I took Kelsey and Chad to Boondocks and played minature golf and a bunch of arcade games! We had sooo much FUN!!!

PHiL iS FiNALLY HOME!!!

YaaaaYY..Im soo excited that Phil is home safe! The whole family went to pick Phil up and we where so happy, excited, and emotional! We made a welcome home sign and got him lots of balloons! When I saw him for the first time it was the most amazing feeling just cause I knew he was safe and finally home! We hung out with my family for a couple days and had lots of fun, and now we are off to St. George to see some more friends. Im sure once we get back to Cali we are going to be very busy, but im really excited for his family to get to see him!

HOW iRONIC!

Ok im sick! I have been in Utah now for a couple weeks and my last week here, I get sicK! My throat hurts and I don't feel good. I had to miss Tylees blessing and Phil comes home tomorrow morning! I have been waiting for those two things the whole time i have been here, and now i get sick!? I just don't get it. Oh well, I guess I better go eat some hot soup and get back to sleep!

ONLY ONE MORE WEEK!

OK, so today is Sept 11th, and I hate that Phil is over in Iraq on this day. Obviously it brings bad memories to mind and definetly scares me knowing he is so close to danger. On the other hand it also makes me very very proud of him. Even though its so hard to have him gone, I am just so thankful for him going over there and fighting with all the other men and women in the armed forces for our freedom. Come on we all know I wouldn't last one day over there, lol. Anyway He is supposed to be home in one more week and I can't wait! Sorry I have not been blogging too much cause I don't have my own computer here. Im still in Utah and having a bunch of fun! I love that I get the chance to come out to Utah and hangout with my family and friends for so long, im sure going to miss everyone when I have to go back to cali! :)

TWO MORE WEEKS LEFT!

Ok, so Phil only has about two more weeks left? He hasn't gotten an exact date he comes home, but they should tell him soon! I hope it goes by fast and I can't wait to see him. I got an email from him today with a picture attached. Phil works night shift over there and a couple of the night shift crew go swimming after they get off cause they never get to see the sun! So here is a pic of him with a couple of the guys he works with at the pool!

TYLEE FAE WATSON!

My sister finally got Tylee's first pictures back and i just had to show everyone how cute they are! She is such a pretty baby and i love her so much! Im finally an Auntie! I love it! She is definetly going to be one spoiled baby girl!

BiG UPDATE!!

Ok..So alot has changed in our lives these past couple of weeks. Phil and I decided it would be good for me to take some time off and come up to Utah. I really never get to see my family so of course I took full advantage of the opportunity! So I am now staying in Utah for a couple weeks until Phil gets home. Im pretty sure he is going to fly into Salt Lake so he can spend time with the family too and then we can both drive back together, he only has about 25 more days left! I hope being here with my family and friends helps the days go by fast! We can't wait to be with each other again!

Ok so like i said, when my family all gets together there are very few times we aren't having fun and laughing! My cousin craig, begged me to put up these pictures so this post is for him! Me and craig have been great friends since we where young, anyone who knows the relationship between the two of us have will understand these pictures completely...lol!! And the one of jayrod, well i just wanted to throw that in there too, hopefully its a good reminder to him that showers, hair cuts, and shaving, our GOOD things!

ARiZONA TRiP!

Last week I was in Arizona to be with my family because my uncle Steve had past away. He was such a great man and there are no words to describe exactly how much he will be missed. It was really nice to be able to spend time with my family! Whenever we are all together we are usually laughing and telling stories the whole time! I truly appreciate every moment I get to spend with them, and love each and every one of them so much!

UPDATE ON PHiL

Phil left for Balad, Iraq on July 14th. Yes, saying goodbye knowing where he is going was one of the hardest things i have done. It was a pretty emotional day, and i just couldn't hold it all together. Its been a couple weeks since he has been gone and each day is getting a little easier. He is doing really well and is very good about writing as much as he can and calling whenever he gets a chance. Everyday i pray for him to come home safe, and that day will be one of the happiest i have ever had! Here is a pic of us at the airport, we are both trying to smile and control our emotions..lol!

I know i have not exactly been blogging as often as i should i had to post a blog for my new little niece! She is absolutely the most adorable thing i have ever seen! I can't believe im finally an auntie!! Its crazy how much i love this sweet little girl and have not even met her yet! Thanks brit for giving me the cutest niece ever!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PHIL!

Today is Phils 25th birthday! We stayed up till two in the morning last night playing Wii with his sisters and it was sooo fun! Tonight we are going to go out to dinner with a couple friends and I got him the funniest cake ever. Ill have to put up some pictures later.

BiG WeEKeNd!

I hope everyone had a great fourth of July! This is Phils last weekend home and he will be leaving to his base on friday, so we had a big family party on the fourth at his moms house. We made a bunch of food and swam all day! Then on Saturday we had a big party with all his friends to come and get to hang out with him before he leaves. We had sooo much fun and i managed to snap a couple pictures of everyone hanging out!
